Three Keys To Meeting Your Destiny

Three Keys To Meeting Your Destiny

Hi and Happy Wednesday!  Today’s post will be short but very sweet, so grab a cup of coffee and a pen because you’ll want to take some notes!  I don’t know about you but it doesn’t take much to get me overwhelmed when I start thinking about my ‘destiny’.   But like every other area of my life, a list makes everything seem less daunting and this list has me PUMPED!

About a year ago, I subscribed to Christine Caine’s  Propel Women newsletter.  I highly recommend that you do, too!  She’s so encouraging and somehow, everything she says is exactly what I need to hear and is always on time.  She doesn’t mess around.  She gets right to the point and delivers her message with such fire, it brands my heart every time.

Today I’m sharing the highlights from one of her recent posts.  In it, she shared three keys that will lead us straight to our destinies.  Nothing deep and mystical, just a crystal clear strategy to get us and keep us on track.   These are things we can do right now and it applies to all of us.  When I read it, I knew I needed help in all three areas so I  prayed and asked God to help me implement them.  He reminded me of this scripture…

And the Lord answered me:  “Write the vision, make it plain on tablets, so that the one who reads it may run.”  (Habakkuk 2:2)

That’s my plan.  I made some notes and taped them to my refrigerator so that I can see them every day!

Here are the keys and a few notes I added to them:

  1.  Be a good steward of what God has given you. {This goes for all of us, no matter what season of life we’re in.  As we steward well what He’s given us, He will give us more!}
  2. Step out of your comfort zone. {I read this quote one day and will never forget it… “When we step out of our comfort zones, we step into God’s“.  Don’t you love that?!  If we believe that God goes before us, let’s activate our faith by taking a step forward, especially if we’re scared.}
  3. Be willing to be disciplined and focused in order to live out your purpose.  {Discipline and focus…we can’t bring anything to completion without them!  We’ve gotta keep our eyes on the prize, eliminate distractions and push forward-even when we don’t feel like it.  Where we are now is preparing us for where we’re going next, we can’t give up!}

All of that being said, I have two questions for you:

Does this excite you as much as it excites me?  And are you ready to rid your mind of all the clutter and set it on a clear path to victory?  If your answer is yes, prepare yourself for a fight and be ready to say no to anything that doesn’t line up with this teaching.  Don’t let anything derail you from your assignment.

Let’s kick butt where we are, be brave and stay focused.  It’s time to lace up our shoes and RUN!
