Today is the Day!

Today is the Day!

Hello and Good Morning!

Today is Monday, May 22, 2017.  This is an exciting day for me because it’s the day that I am officially announcing my blog.  I have prayed  and asked God to show me when the time was right, and I believe that time is now.

I knew it was getting close because I’ve felt such an excitement in my spirit and over the past few weeks I’ve experienced a peace but at the same time felt a boldness rising up in me.  I’ve always been afraid of what people would think or wondered if anyone would even care, but not anymore! I mean, the tagline of my blog includes  the words ‘brave’ and  ‘bold’ so I have to be!

SO!  I prepared the cute graphic and have been waiting for the confirmation.  *I got it last night*

I was watching tv with Mike and I picked up my phone to check something.  As soon as I did, a Periscope notification popped up.  It was one of my favorite evangelists, Joe Dawson.  The title of the scope was, “New Season Starts Tomorrow“.  {{HELLO!!!}}  When I saw the title, I had to stop what I was doing and watch it.

He gave  an exciting Word from the Lord.  He said that God showed him that so many people are entering into a new season of life.  That they’ve had things stirring in their hearts for a long time and have been waiting for the right time to launch it, and that NOW is the time.  He even specifically mentioned  “publishing a blog”!  Needless to say, I took that as my confirmation!!  I am doing it!  I’m stepping out of the boat and am ready to do all that God has called me to do!

Like I said in my bio, I love Jesus, I love people and I love writing.  That’s how I know that this is part of my purpose.  I’m a firm believer that in most cases, our passion is directly linked to our purpose.  I want to share what God has done in my life, to encourage others in their walk with him and hope to inspire someone else to step out and ‘do it afraid’.  I believe that everything that has happened in my life leading up to this point has prepared me for this.

I hope you’ll join  me on this exciting adventure of chasing after the things of God!  We weren’t created to walk this journey alone.  We need friendship, community and a break from all the craziness of this world.  We need each other!  You have landed in a safe place where you will be loved and encouraged to realize your place in the Purpose and Plan of God.

One of my favorite passages of scripture is Psalm 139:13-18, that reads:

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.  How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!  How vast is the sum of them!  If I would count them, they are more than the sand.”

Is that beautiful or what?!  It’s talking about me, and it’s talking about YOU!  You were dreamed about before you where even formed!  You were chosen for a purpose and born at the perfect time so that God could use you in a way that only you can be used for his kingdom.  Everything about you was carefully planned.  Your uniqueness was his design.  He loves you so much and wants you to know him intimately.

If you are at least a tiny bit intrigued, I would love for you to stay.  Let’s do this together!  It won’t be easy, but it will be SO worth it!

Thank you for stopping by and for letting me share my excitement with you!  XOXOXO!  Please subscribe at the bottom of this page so you won’t miss any posts!  Talk to you, soon!

I'm not an expert and I don't know everything, I still learn new things every day.  I have and do make mistakes but I won't let that keep me from doing what God created me for.  Fear has been shown the door and is not allowed back in :)  Also, I was not compensated for mentioning Joe Dawson, I just love him and what he does for Jesus!
